This interactive training brings the historical background, the practical application and the transformational power of ABCD. In many communities, social service organizations, churches, and government agencies attempt community transformation by asking what is wrong in the community, what has to be fixed. ABCD approaches community transformation by asking what is right, what is working and how can everyone contribute their skills and passion to make life better! We invite you to join us for an engaging and interactive event where we will learn how to look at our community as places of great assets.
Southeast Regional ABCD into Action Training February 10-11, 2010 Miami, Florida Cost: $125 per person includes breakfast, lunch and snacks for the two days. ABCD in Action is a learning experience that familiarizes participants with the basic concepts of Asset Based Community Development, teaches tools to put them into practice and provides participants opportunities to develop their skills in using these tools to improve programs or ministries!
“The deepest dream of ABCD is that more and more people can come to see truly that ‘there is no one we don’t need’ and that a community without a place for everyone really has a place for no one.” —Mike Green
